Privacy Policy

FyniteKits is operated from Leipzig, Germany, and is the data controller for everything described here. For anything about your data, write to hello@fynitekits.com.

Only what the service actually needs:

• Account — your email address, and a display name and avatar if you sign in with Google. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and never stored by us in readable form.
• Billing — your plan, its status and renewal date, plus the identifiers that link you to our payment provider. Card numbers never reach our servers.
• Usage — which kits you save as favourites, and a record of each prompt copy or source download, which is how the fair-use limits are counted.
• Messages — the name, email and message you send through the contact form, and the details you submit if you apply to the affiliate programme.

No analytics or error-tracking tools run on this site. Nothing measures what you look at or how long you stay beyond the usage records described above.

• To give you an account and the access your plan entitles you to — without this there is no service to provide.
• To take payment and keep a record of what was bought, which we are also required to keep for tax purposes.
• To enforce fair-use limits, which is the only reason copy and download events are logged.
• To reply when you contact us.

• Our database and storage provider — holds your account, your plan and the files that make up each kit, and handles signing you in.
• Our payment provider — takes the payment and issues the invoice. It is the merchant of record for every sale, so it is the seller named on your receipt, and it holds your card and billing details under its own privacy policy; we only ever see the plan status and the amount.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with it, and only to confirm your identity.
• Our hosting provider — processes requests in order to serve the site.

These providers operate internationally, so your data may be processed outside your own country. We do not sell your data or pass it to advertisers.

We use cookies to keep you signed in. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking, so there is nothing to consent to beyond the session itself — clearing them simply signs you out.

Account data stays while your account exists. Payment and order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is ten years where we are established. Contact messages and affiliate applications are kept for two years and then deleted.

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it. Deleting an account removes your profile, favourites and usage log; billing records we are legally required to keep will remain. Email hello@fynitekits.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live you may have further rights — for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK — including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes to how we use your data will be communicated by email.
